MISSION-CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION
AI Data Centres
Protecting the infrastructure behind continuous computing.
VERTEX provides a coordinated protective coating system for concrete, steel and service areas exposed to moisture, cooling-water leakage, chemicals, abrasion and long-term operational wear.
INDUSTRY OVERVIEW
Built for uptime. Protected for service life.
AI data centres depend on reliable supporting infrastructure: cooling systems, mechanical rooms, utility corridors, foundations, containment zones and high-traffic service areas. Water intrusion, leaks, chemical exposure and surface wear can create costly maintenance risks around mission-critical operations.
The VERTEX approach begins with substrate and exposure assessment, followed by surface preparation and installation of the Blue Seal three-coat system in accordance with approved technical documentation.
AI DATA CENTRE APPLICATIONS
Twelve protection applications across mission-critical facilities.
From data centre campuses, server halls and cooling plants to backup generators, battery systems, coated floors, structural steel and external concrete, VERTEX supports project-specific protection across the facility.

OPERATIONAL CHALLENGES
Protection against the conditions that threaten supporting infrastructure.
Every facility is different. System selection must reflect substrate condition, operating environment, chemicals, drainage, temperature and expected traffic.
Moisture Intrusion
Water migration through concrete, joints and service areas can contribute to deterioration and unplanned repairs.
Cooling-System Leakage
Cooling loops, pumps and water-handling equipment create areas where reliable containment and surface protection are essential.
Chemical Exposure
Treatment chemicals, cleaning agents and maintenance fluids require careful review of compatibility and service conditions.
Abrasion & Traffic
Mechanical rooms, corridors and loading areas experience equipment movement, maintenance traffic and repeated surface wear.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Twelve key areas where VERTEX can support an AI data centre project.
Data Centre Campus
Long-term protection for external concrete, service buildings and supporting infrastructure.
Server Rooms & Data Halls
Protective floor and service-area systems for clean, controlled mission-critical environments.
Cooling Plants
Corrosion-resistant protection for HVAC equipment zones, mechanical floors and cooling infrastructure.
Chilled Water Piping
Internal and external protection of selected piping, supports and adjacent containment areas.
Backup Generators
Protecting generator enclosures, equipment pads, fuel-service zones and coated maintenance floors.
Battery Energy Storage Systems
Project-specific protection for battery rooms and energy-storage support areas, subject to chemical and fire-safety review.
Cable Trays & Supports
Corrosion protection for selected cable trays, steel supports and electrical infrastructure.
Concrete Floors & Containment
High-performance coated floors and containment surfaces for abrasion, moisture and chemical resistance.
Rooftop Mechanical Equipment
Weathering and corrosion protection for rooftop units, ductwork, supports and exposed metal surfaces.
Water Treatment Systems
Protection for selected treatment equipment, tanks, curbs and water-management service areas.
Structural Steel & Supports
Durable coating systems for steel framing, equipment supports and secondary structures.
External Concrete Infrastructure
Weather-resistant protection for exterior concrete, utility corridors, walls and infrastructure elements.
COMPLETE APPLICATION SEQUENCE
The VERTEX Three-Coat Protection System
Blue Seal is presented as one core coating technology installed as a coordinated system. Final preparation, coverage, reinforcement, cure and suitability must follow approved project documentation.
Surface Preparation
Inspect, clean and prepare the substrate to the required project standard.
Base Coat
Creates the initial bond and substrate interface layer.
Reinforcement — Optional
Added only where specified for the project and exposure conditions.
Top Coat
Forms the final service-exposure and protective surface layer.

SYSTEM VALUE
Designed around performance, maintainability and project review.
Supports a coordinated protective surface when installed over a properly prepared substrate as specified.
Suitable for consideration on concrete, steel and selected compatible substrates after technical review.
Supports service areas exposed to maintenance activity and operational wear.
Selections are reviewed against exposure, chemical contact, drainage, traffic and service conditions.
ENGINEERING NOTE
Specification must be based on verified project conditions.
Information on this page is general and does not replace a project specification, technical data sheet, safety data sheet or compatibility review. Final system selection and installation requirements must be confirmed for the specific facility.
